The MGPM25-50Z is a thin-profile cylinder with a guide rod from the SMC MGP-Z series. It has a 25mm bore and a 50mm stroke.

By shortening the guide rod and changing the end plate thickness, it achieves approximately 24% weight reduction while maintaining high lateral load resistance, helping to save installation space. This cylinder is a double-acting type, using sliding bearings, with rubber buffers at both ends, and an internal magnetic ring for installing a magnetic switch to detect the piston position. It is widely used in automated production lines in industries such as electronics, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, suitable for short-distance handling, lifting, and stopping operations requiring high guiding precision.
